This select group of young men and women from across North America will dedicate their time, talents, energy, and service to better the JAINA community. The assignments given to an intern on any given day could include working with project and committee leaders, implementing IT related tasks, developing the JAINA 365 Fundraising initiative, supporting the JainLink portal community, conducting social media outreach, managing inquiries, and attending weekly meetings.
While the interns’ responsibilities and tasks vary, all interns are united through individual daily check-ins and weekly group meetings with the Program Coordinator. There will also be opportunities to meet with JAINA leaders for leadership training.
The JASI Program has been designed to last 12 weeks. In 2015, the internship will begin on Monday, June 1, and last until Friday, Aug. 14th. A mandatory debriefing session will take place at the end of the internship.
