Jai Jinendra,
First of all, you will need an Acharya to take diksha (initiation) from in whatever sect you wish to become a sadhu (monk). Jain monks and nuns do not use planes, trains, cars, etc. They walk barefoot everywhere they go. If you really are interested in becoming a Digambara (sky clad) sadhu, I would suggest living a layman's life first and developing yourself as that, and then, if you are not satisfied, you should go to India and look for a Guru to learn from. Then, you will learn what it is like to lead the life of a sadhu, and if it is too much for you, you won't have to stay. If you like it, then you will take diksha.
I believe there are certain levels of Digambara renunciation. I think the first few, you still wear clothes, and then when you are totally unattached to everything, then you go sky clad. I could be wrong on that, though. Good luck!
Best Wishes,
Justin
