The opening ceremony started with Gurdev Chitrabhanuji's guidance on how "you can be the torchbearers of Jain Dharma - not Jainism (as "ism" separates people)."  He encouraged the you youths to change their parents from being sectarian to just Jains.

Then Sramniji and Shrutpragyaji addressed the crowd.  Sramniji asked the youths to spend 2 minutes a day on themselves by "realizing that I am a Jain."
