For any bright, hard-working, goal-oriented, practicing Jain youth in North America to be able to afford to attend an institution of higher learning where s/he can develop her/his skills and talents, and eventually make the community, country and world a better place. Mission:
To attract, identify, and provide meaningful and substantial financial aid to practicing Jain youths in North America who wish to embark on a college career path and have a demonstrated financial need. Award Guidelines:
Please read the following very carefully. Failure to comply with the rules could result in disqualification.
The JAINA Educational Loan Program (JELP) will provide five (5) need-based educational loans to graduating high school seniors entering college to pursue higher education. How to Apply:

Eligibility Requirements:
Applicants must live a Jain Way of Life, demonstrate financial need, have and maintain a minimum 3.0 GPA, be accepted at an accredited college or university in North America for the fall 2018 term and have legal student status in North America.
Selection of Awardees: The JAINA Education Loan Program with evaluate all complete applications and make a decision on the recipients of this award. All loan recipients will be notified by September 30, 2018.
