CONSIDER GIVING UP DAIRY PRODUCT DURING PARYUSHAN / DAS LAKSHANA

Hopefully, you're aware of the campaign to consider giving up dairy products over Paryushan.

The Jain Vegans Working Group has produced a 5-minute video presentation which explains the reasons behind the campaign and why it is so relevant to the Jain community.

If you believe the video presentation contains an important message that makes sense, please consider giving up dairy products at least during the Paryushan and share the message among your friends and family.

REMEMBERING ACHARYA SUSHIL MUNI JI

Last weekend, Siddhachalam celebrated “Remembering Guruji” from August 9-11, 2019.

Acharya Sushil Muniji popularly known as Guruji in America was born on June 15, 1926 in Haryana, India, he came to the USA in 1975. Gurudev Chitrabhanuji and Acharya Sushil Muniji were two spiritual Jain leaders of American Jain community. Acharya Sushilmuni passed away April 22, 1994 at the age of 68 years. That time, JAINA Education Committee had compiled an article covering Guruji’s life, mission and work in brief. It’s a great occasion to learn about him and pass it to the next generation.
