Online Weekly Jain Workshop on WebEx by Jaina Education Committee

In order to educate fundamental principles of Jainism to adults, youths, and Pathshala teachers, the JAINA Education committee conducts weekly WebEx sessions in simple English language with some Hindi/Gujarati explanations. The workshop is conducted by the committee chairperson, Pravin K Shah.

The workshop theme is Striking a Balance: - Examining Social, Cultural, and Spiritual environment that we adults and our youth face while growing up in North America.

This workshop takes Jainism beyond being just a religious identification for people. It discusses the fundamentals, which can be easily applied in our daily life. Jain Senior Assisted Living Project

We have received more than 25 applications from Seniors interested in relocating to any Jain Senior Assisted Living Projects in the USA. We need to receive more replies from senior citizens 65 years and older to live with people of similar age and interests. We encourage senior citizens to fill out the form given below for our analysis. With the interest received so far, it gives us a base now to look for an affordable location and start planning the logistics and budgeting etc. The real Estate market is not favourable since it is exceptionally strong with huge housing demand in every region of the country. The prices are surging month over month breaking new records. With the existing market situation this project may take much longer than expected. This is just for the information.

As requested by the community, we are giving details and the list of the awardees of the JAINA Karuna Ratna ( Compassion Jewel) & Karuna Veer ( Compassion Champion) awards sponsored by Sarva Mangal Family Trust ( Manubhai & Rikaben Shah ). This project was established for the first time during 2021 JAINA Convention for Individuals living in North America (the USA and Canada), who had contributed significantly to compassionate activities for Social causes, i.e. “Jains for Humanity”, to be recognized during the JAINA Virtual Convention. The judges were appointed who after scrutinizing all the applications declared winners in three age categories as given below.

Karuna Ratna Awards are of $10,000 for a charity of their choice and, Karuna Veer Awards are of $5,000 for a charity of their choice.

ENSPIRE-2021 - World's First Virtual E-Summit

Jain Got Talent and JITO Youth Wing India, in collaboration with JITO Projects (JBN, CFE, JPF, JOBS, JIIF), brings ENSPIRE-2021 - the world's first virtual E-Summit. The a 3-day power-packed, immersive, and highly engaging virtual summit will take place from August 13 – 15, 2021.

It's expected to be the largest hybrid-model summit for Jains, where 10,000+ dynamic youth shall get hosted. The idea of the summit is to help Jain youth #EvolveFromHome. This event is a smorgasbord of elements that intends to holistically impact an individual and presents an opportunity for the Jain community to come closer to one another irrespective of geographical boundaries.
