Around twenty-five thousand people joined the assembly and a rally at Palitana in protest last week We request each one of you to join in the revolution by writing emails to the below-mentioned IDs

The Government of India has made a decision to convert Shri Sammed Shikhar Ji into a tourist destination. The Jain samaj has been protesting against this in a peaceful and Jain manner, but no concrete governmental assurance has emerged on this very important matter. We request each one of you and other Jain organizations to join us in writing formal protest letters/petitions to the Prime Minister and the President of India.

JAINA Telehealth Initiative - Shoutout to Physicians and Dentists

The JAINA Telehealth committee is actively looking out for Physicians and Dentists from the USA and Canada who are excited to join us in working towards improving the community's access to quality healthcare.

As one of the Telehealth pilot projects, the Primary Care Program will allow physicians and Dentists in JAINA providers listing to offer remote patient consults using a secure, low-cost digital connection. Dr. Girish J. Shah - DDS, MPH, Ph. D, is leading this initiative and inviting Physicians and Dentists from USA and Canada to join volunteer and join the team. Shri Shretrunjay Mahatirth Raksha

Over twenty-five thousand Jains joined a rally in Palitana and gave a memorandum to the deputy collector demanding to take action against those who broke the Charan Paduka of the first Tirthankara Shri Aadinath Bhagavan at Rohishala Talati. Strict and immediate actions were also demanded against those who spread terror by breaking a CCTV camera pole and a board at Shetrunjay hill near Aadinath Dada Darbar.

Jain Shwetambar Tapgachchh Maha Sangh Ahmedabad and Mumbai Jain Sangh organized a rally in protest of the incident. Jains from all over India including Chennai, Mumbai, Bangalore, Surat, Ahmedabad, and Bhavnagar joined the rally. A press conference was organized about the incident, and it was stated that immediate actions should be taken against those who are responsible for the terror at Shetrunjay Mahatirth.

Despite multiple requests to Government offices, no action has been taken, which has hurt our sentiments. Please join this revolution and send individual Emails in your own words to:

Petition to Protect Jain Tirth Sammed Shikhar Ji

This is an appeal to all of you as you may have heard an unprecedented government decision in India to convert Shri Sammed Shikhar Ji into a tourist destination. The Jain Samaj in India has been completely roiled by this decision and is protesting against this in a peaceful and Jain manner. So far, no concrete governmental assurance has emerged on this very important matter. All traditions of Jain Dharma are speaking with one voice against this atrocity. If Sammed Shikharji and Palitana - the two most important places of worship are taken away from us, the existence of Jain Dharma will be in great danger.

JAINA requests all international Jain organizations, and Jain community members around the world to write formal protest letters/petitions to the Prime Minister and the President of India and request them to nullify/withdraw the tourist destination notification.

To help this process, please find three different letters,

1. Petition to protect Jain's Thirth Shamved Shikari ji
2. Sammed Shikhar Ji Gyapan with Communication addresses (Hindi)
3. Appeal Sammed Sikharji (Hindi)

The one in English provides issues and demands of the Jain community. You can use this material to draft the letter to the PMO and the President. We must do all we can to avert this great danger to our Dharma. I hope you will give this serious consideration.
