Dear Sadharmik brothers and sisters, Jai
Jinendra,
JAINA's Ahimsa and fasting Committee had created a 3 part program this year wherein Ahimsa meals were served to the needy in October and November 2021 and fasting program was observed
on Thanksgiving day to celebrate compassion. JAINA is grateful to everyone who helped in making these events successful. We had participants of all ages from kids to senior citizens from various
Jain Centers. We also had participation from non Jain individuals and other humanitarian Organizations . Together we served 147,654 Jain Vegan meals, while 623 people participated in Thanksgiving
Day Fasting.
We are all aware of the Girivihar Trust and their legendary services to Sadhus and Sadhvis including the hospital they operate for them. The trust has embarked on an ambitious project for aged, sick, or impaired Sadhvijis with a permanent home in a new
three-story building for them at Palitana. The Vaiyavach Committee of JAINA seized this golden opportunity and committeed to launch a $300,000 fund raising drive to support this timely and extremely
needed project. Presently we are short of $70,000 to fulfill this committment. Please consider donating generously for our Sadhviji Bhagvants to spend their golden years in the safety and comfort
of Girivihar.

The Vaiyavach Committee is happy to report progress on two more projects of building Vihardhams at Karambella and Sarkhej. Both of these projects are on the path of completion within the next 45 days.

Million. Please take this opportunity to support the noble cause that will help prepare the next generation for building their future.
