Inside October 2021 Jain Digest: JAINA Convention Committees – Kids Club
|
|
The main topic of the October issue
of Jain Digest is the 2021 JAINA Convention. We have featured a few committees with their “Behind the Scenes” efforts in making the convention successful. In this week’s newsletter,
we are featuring the Kids Club committee. The Committee Chair, Maulee Shah, shares her experience in organizing the Kids Club activities. She says, “I was a bit nervous and concerned
about the output, but my experience as a Pathshala teacher and proud mother of 2 reminded me that I know what kids will respond to. In this global online forum, we needed to teach
children with activities in addition to didactic lectures.”

Bhaag Milkha Bhaag - Drama of Human Life
|
|
|
An interesting article by Sulekh C. Jain, Ph. D
Milkha Singh (1929 –2021) also known as The Flying Sikh (also popularly known as Bhaag Milkha Bhaag) was an Indian track and field sprinter. He is the only athlete to
win gold at 400 meters at the Asian Games as well as the Commonwealth Games. Even at 91 years of age, he was always running.
For many, human life too from birth to death is also like constant running. If you have already lived 40/50 years of life then start preparing to return now before it
is too late before everything you have done becomes useless.
