We bring you a 4-day Mental Health 360 webinar series where we will share information, help break the stigma that exists in our community, inspire more people to put it on priority, and normalize seeking of therapy.
The Jain Center of Northern California celebrated Paryushan and Das Lakshan Maha Parva for 18 days beautifully. The center had organized daily lectures, Sapana Darshan, Pratikraman, and Samuhik Parna.

STOP THE EXPANSION OF SLAUGHTERHOUSE IN WISCONSIN
Strauss Brand is planning an expansion of a slaughterhouse in Wisconsin. The expansion will mean 500 additional lives (mostly cows) will be slaughtered on daily basis. A civic group is trying to stop the expansion through the courts on environmental and other grounds. Our JAINA Director Kamal Shah in Wisconsin is leading the Jain efforts. He can be reached at 414-795-3558 or kamalshah318@gmail.com
So far they have succeeded in holding off the expansion since Nov 2020. Each day of delay saves at least 500 animals/day. This easily exceeds 100,000 animals already. The next court hearing date is October 13. The Jivadaya Committee requests your compassionate contributions to support the legal fight to stop or delay the expansion.
