JAINA offers need-based scholarships to deserving students to pursue higher education. Interested students or their parents are encouraged to apply for the upcoming academic year before June 18, 2023. To sustain the "Scholarship Program," JAINA appeals to everyone to donate to the best of their capacity and support this initiative.

JAINA invites you to the 22nd Biennial JAINA Convention from June 30 to July 3, 2023. It's a premier event that brings the Jain community together, where more than 4,000 Jains gather worldwide. The theme of the 2023 Convention is “Maximize Human Potential - The Jain Way."
The 22nd JAINA Convention will bring together more than 40+ Speakers, Spiritual Dignitaries, and Scholars who, at the Convention, will elaborate upon how Jainism can help humanity progress to its highest potential by conditioning one's body, mind, and spirit to perpetually strive to achieve lasting inner peace and to impact our world in positive ways.

Jain Connect is a platform designed to help Jain singles in North America connect with each other and find their life partners. Launched during the 2019 JAINA Convention, Jain Connect quickly became the largest platform for Jain singles in North America. With 800+ profiles on its site, the searches are more relevant for North American singles.

JAINA Scholarship Program 2023
JAINA has established a needs-based scholarship program to assist and encourage our students to further their college education and better connect with youth. We are accepting applications at
https://tinyurl.com/JainaStudentAppl2023 till June 18, 2023.
Criteria:
- To apply to this needs-based program,
- The student or student's parent must be a member of a JAINA-affiliated Jain Center.
- The student must be eligible to attend undergraduate college during 2023-24.
- The student must be a citizen or a permanent resident of the US and Canada.

An independent Scholarship Committee will evaluate all applications, primarily based on the criteria of financial necessity. Merit, submitted essays, and recommendation letters shall be given due consideration. Applicants with the last two years' average family income (AGI) > $120K will not be considered.
- Applications must be submitted through the online form by June 18th, 2023. Additional documents, as requested, must be submitted by June 30th, 2023.
- During the evaluation process, the Scholarship Committee will ensure the confidentiality of the information submitted.

JAINA Telehealth Initiative - Shoutout to Physicians and Dentists

The JAINA Telehealth committee is actively looking out for Physicians and Dentists from the USA and Canada who are excited to join us in working towards improving the community's access to quality healthcare.
As one of the Telehealth pilot projects, the Primary Care Program will allow physicians and Dentists in JAINA providers listing to offer remote patient consults using a secure, low-cost digital connection. Dr. Girish J. Shah - DDS, MPH, Ph. D, is leading this initiative and inviting Physicians and Dentists from USA and Canada to join volunteer and join the team. If you are interested in joining our provider network, please read the details of this initiative and provide the basic information mentioned in the document.
