As all of you are aware, COVID-19 has caused devastating effects all over the world specially in India during the second wave. With this message, we are reaching out to you for desperately needed help for Sadharmik families in India, who are experiencing unfortunate financial conditions made worse by this unfortunate second wave of COVID-19. Many mid and low-income Jain families are going through severe hardships, but many are too proud to ask for help. Such circumstances have caused extenuating situations of suicides by entire families. Hearing so many heart-wrenching stories underscore the hardships these families are going through.

The JAINA World Community Services is hoping to raise as much funds as it can to support this situation in India and is looking forward to your generous donation. Our goal is to raise $500,000 for this cause that will allow us to support almost 3,000 needy Sadharmik Families for 4 months.

In our first fundraising meeting yesterday when we announced the campaign, we got pledges of $93,000 which will be sent immidiately to India for disbursing to the needy. We are now short of $407,000 to reach our goal.

To raise funds for Sadharmiks in India, JAINA is planning to present a professionally produced play in Hindi based on the life of Daanveer Jagdusha Sheth on Saturday May 1st, 2021 at 5 pm PST. The play will webcast on JAINA.org, YouTube and Facebook. Enjoy the play and think about helping our Sadharmiks in India who are going through a really terrible time.

Names of every donor will be published on the screen during the show. Also we will publish the names of donors during the show as well. Those who donates $25,000 plus will get an opportunity to give a 60 seconds video message during the showing of the play.

Sadharmik Bhakti is one of our kartavya ( duty ) to help our Sadharmic Jain families during this unprecedented and difficult time. We urge every one of you to donate generously for this noble cause.

Sadharmik Bhakti funds will support the needy Jain families qualified by our well respected NGO partners. The NGO's even suppliments our funds with their own resources to increase the imact. Listen to the video below from the NGO's we work with in India. Shri Girishbhai of Samast Mahajan Trust and a video from Param Pujya Acharya Bhagwant Shrimad Vijay Rajhans Surishwarji Maharaj for Jain Education & EmpowermentTrust ( JEET )
