JAINA extends our deepest condolences on losing Charukeerthi Bhattaraka Swamiji of Shravanabelagola, who left our world for his heavenly abode at 74 due to cardiac arrest on March 23rd, 2023. We highly appreciate Swamiji's work for the community, like organizing four Mahamastakabhishekas, holding health camps, helping women become independent, building Prakrit University at Shravana Belagola, and more. We hope to get inspired by such souls and work towards the betterment of the community. Read about his work below.

YJA Update
|
This past weekend, 32 YJA members met in Meredith, New Hampshire! They participated in an exciting baking competition, energizing Bollywood Zumba, and learned about the importance of empathy & intentional innovation. Additionally, they reflected on their Jain values, tubed down the snowy mountain, and played hide and seek while learning about the 5 Samvayas. They ended the night by decorating canned goods for those facing food insecurity and reflecting on what they learned throughout the weekend with a mystery scavenger hunt. They shared fun moments, played karaoke, and enjoyed delicious food throughout the weekend!
