Dear Sadharmik brothers and sisters, Jai Jinendra!
Hope you have registered for the JAINA Convention 2021 so you don't miss all the entertainment, religious knowledge, inspiring speeches, and amazing activities that the JAINA Convention team is bringing in your living room this July. If you still haven’t registered for the JAINA Convention 2021, we give you more reasons to register now. For the first time ever and exclusively for JAINA, the Theater and Screen actors are coming together with a hilarious and meaningful drama in Hindi, Rang De Sanskar!
JAINA Convention 2021 is calling in all the Pathshala students to participate in Sutra recitation. We will showcase it during the JAINA Convention 2021. All you have to do is recite one Sutra as mentioned
and upload the video on www.jainaconvention.org/cultural-program.
JAINA Vaiyavach committee is very happy to declare that an anonymous donor has generously pledged $230,000 for various vaiyavach projects. Thus, fulfilling our initial goal of raising one million Dollars for 2020 -2021. Seeing the continuing outpouring of community support for this noblest of causes, we are now increasing our fundraising goal to $1.5 million for 2021 so that we can attend to the requests of other worthwhile Vaiyavach projects from the community. Among the requests we are considering projects from Bidada Sarvodaya Trust for Vaiyavach of Sadhu Sadhvis, a library with 40,000 books for the Academic center (Adhyan Kendra) for Sadhu Sadhvis near Sankheswara, a Vihardham between Antrikshji and Akola, and a Upashraya in Alok Nagar in Indore. The committee will study these proposals in detail and will attend to them as the funds are collected.
In addition to financial support, you can also help by volunteering. JAINA is looking for North American volunteers to assume the role of “Project Managers” for new constructions or renovations of JAINA supported Vihardhams in Ayana (Maharashtra), Umran (MP) Khinchi (Rajasthan), Nandj and Adarajmoti near Ahmedabad, Paroli near Godhara, and Antrikshji (Maharashtra). JAINA would preferably like to assign the role of project managers to persons who hail from these individual towns but anyone with experience of having managed construction projects in India is welcome to apply. Additionally, JAINA would like your help in finding local residents of these towns to play the role of observers of JAINA projects. Please write to Mahesh.wadher@gmail.com if you wish to help.
