Opportunity to Celebrate Compassion on the 400th Thanksgiving Day

JAINA’s Ahimsa Meals and Fasting committee had created a 3-part program this year.

Here is an update:

1) Show Compassion to the Needy: We had set a goal of serving 100,000 Jain Vegan meals to the needy between Ahimsa Day (October 2nd) and Thanksgiving Day (November 25). Thanks to support of many organizations and families around the world, as of October 25th, the meal count has already reached 122,872!

2) Bring Awareness of Animal Cruelty: A well-attended 4-hour webinar was held on October 3rd.

3) Celebrate compassion on Thanksgiving day: We have set a goal of 1,000 participants to pledge to do partial or full fast on Thanksgiving Day. We need your help to reach that goal. Please watch this short 2-minute video for an invitation to be part of this celebration of compassion.

Thank you very much for your support. We bow down to your compassionate hearts!
