We're delighted to announce the establishment of Shati Mandir, a registered non-profit organization in Danville, Pennsylvania, featuring a diverse array of Hindu Deities and a dedicated section for Jain Tirthankars. The temple showcases three Darshaniya Jin Pratimas, including a majestic 2-foot Tirthankar Mahaveer in the center, with opportunities available for sponsoring the remaining two Jin Pratimas, Sankheshwar Parshvanath and Tirthankar Adinath (both one foot in height). According to Jain Cosmic time cycle, we are currently in the 5th Ara of the regressive cycle in which liberation of the soul is not possible from Bharat Kshetra where the earth is located. However, liberation is possible in Mahavideh Kshetra where Tirthankars are always present.
Bhagwan Simandhar Swami who currently resides in Mahavideh Kshetra, is the Tirthankar closest to Earth. It is believed that through devotion and dedication to him, we can aspire to attain our next birth in Mahavideh Kshetra and experience his spiritual presence, ultimately leading to our liberation.

A Historic Achievement: Dr. Jyoti Gandhi from Jain Temple of New York Completes 100th Vardhaman Tap Oli

We are delighted to share a momentous achievement within our community. For the first time ever in the United States, Dr. Jyoti Gandhi has successfully completed Vardhman Tap Oli, a remarkable journey of 100 fasts and 5050 Ayambil over the course of nearly 36 years. Dr. Gandhi, who has also served as Vice President and President of the Jain Center of America, New York, and is a distinguished JAINA Ratna Awardee from JCA. She will complete her 100th Oli on October 28th, 2023.

Shati Mandir Temple Featuring Jain Tirthankars in Danville, Pennsylvania
We are thrilled to share an exciting development within our community. A new Shati Mandir, a registered non-profit organization, is set to grace Danville, Pennsylvania, just north of Harrisburg. This beautiful temple will feature a diverse array of Hindu Deities, including a dedicated section for Jain Tirthankars. Among the prominent installations will be three Darshaniya Jin Pratimas. Positioned at the center, you will find the esteemed Tirthankar Mahaveer, standing at an impressive height of 2 feet. Flanking Mahaveer's Pratima will be two equally striking Jin Pratimas. One is devoted to Sankheshwar Parshvanath, while the other is dedicated to Tirthankar Adinath, each standing at 1 foot in height.
It's worth mentioning that the Labh (opportunity) for sponsoring Tirthankar Mahaveer's Jin Pratima has already been taken by a devoted individual.
