In May 2019, JAINA Education Committee launched a new blog, Jainism: Know It, Understand It & Internalize It, which was running under the guidance of Pravin K Shah - Chairperson of the JAINA Education Committee. Recently, JAINA EC approved the ‘JAINA Education Blog’ as an ad-hoc committee, which will be led by Pratiksha Shah. Please read more about the committee below.

So far, the JAINA Jivdaya Committee has received a total of $45000 for the Gurudev Chitrabhanu Memorial Panjarapole project. We are grateful to the Jain centers and community members for your donation. While we are still seeking support for this new Panjarapol in taking care of animals, fodder storage, sheds, and more. Please make your generous donation at the link below and encourage others to do so.

JAINA Education Blog Committee

During the recent September meeting, JAINA EC approved the JAINA Education Blog as an ad-hoc committee. In May 2019, JAINA Education Committee launched a new blog called "Jainism: Know It, Understand It & Internalize It". Since then, the blog has addressed various topics in the light of Jainism to help the community practice the Jain principles in everyday life. The new JAINA Education Blog committee aims to continue addressing such issues through its blog while further spreading its wings.

Till now the blog has been written by the committee members under the guidance of Pravin K Shah, Chairperson of the JAINA Education Committee. The new JAINA Education Blog Committee will be led by Pratiksha Shah. For more information, please contact at pratiksha77@gmail.com or 703 589 7139.

Gurudev Chitrabhanu Memorial Panjarapole

JAINA Jivdaya Committee-led project, Gurudev Chitrabhanu Memorial Panjarapole, is moving very well with support from all centers and the community. So far, we have received:

• $10000 from Jain Center of South Florida
• $10000 from Jain center of Greater Atlanta
• $5000 from Jain Center of Northern California,
• $5000 from Jain Center of Greater Detroit
• $5000 from Dr. Avani Sheth and Nigam Sheth, Oklahoma City
• Several $1000 checks

Totaling to $45000

Additional pledges of $25,000 are in process of approval.

JAINA requests each center to come forward to donate to this noble project which will be able to shelter and manage 700-750 animals, 6 sheds, and one storage facility for fodder storage, with more land for future development.
