Soon the Jain Center of British Columbia will be celebrating Father's Day at their annual picnic with the Father’s Day-themed activities. Is your Jain center celebrating any such event? JAINA encourages such events/activities in all Jain centers that helps bringing the community closer.

Join us Saturday, on June 11, to an online Musical Event in honoring Pujya Acharya Shri Chandana Ji Maharaj (Pujya Tai maa) Founder of Veerayatan (Seva, Siksha, and Sadhana). Let’s take laabh of this event where several renowned Jain Sadhuji/Sadhviji, Scholars, Dignitaries, Sadharmiks, and JAINA Leadership will participate in the event.

Last week, three members of the UK Jain community - Mr. Navin Fakirchand Shah, Dr. Shamil Chandaria, and Mr. Kirit Modi - were honoured in Jubilee Planinum year by her majesty the Queen for their services in the different sectors. This is a proud moment for the entire Jain community.

The Jain Foundation brings one-day online workshop of Brahmi Calligraphy on June 19, 2022. This is a nice opportunity to get in touch with Jain Heritage and learn an art of beautiful handwriting. More details are mentioned below.

Jain Center Latest News

On Sunday, June 19th, the Jain Center of BC will be celebrating Father's Day at their annual picnic in Queens Park, New Westminster. They plan to have Father's Day-themed fun activities, games, a splash in the water spray park, relishing the picnic food and of course, a lot of chatter. The center is hopeful to make this event memorable along with building a strong community.



3 Members of the Jain community in UK were hounoured by her Majesty the Queen


Last week, three members of the Jain community in the UK, Mr. Navin Fakirchand Shah, Dr. Shamil Chandaria, and Mr. Kirit Modi, were honored in Jubilee Platinum year by her majesty the Queen for political and public service, services to Science and Technology, and services to Organ Donation particularly in the Ethnic Minority Communities respectively.
