There is a special reminder to all our women, seniors, and everyone who finds it challenging to keep pace with technology or needs hand-holding for efficient operation of their digital devices, mobiles, tablets, etc. Next week on May 24, JAINA Women’s Committee will conduct a “Digital Literacy Course.” Please participate in this online course and become technologically independent.
I am pleased to inform you that last month, the Jain Center of Columbus, Ohio presented a drama cum movie, “Aham Gaj,” - the story of Lord Shri Bahubali and his journey from being egoistic to attaining self-realization. The film will soon be released on YouTube and possibly shown during the JAINA Convention 2023.
In April 2023, the Jain Centre of Greater Phoenix hosted the Jain Sangh from Los Angeles, CA, at their Derasar, where they jointly performed Snatra Puja & Bhakti. JAINA appreciates such intra-Jain center programs, which create more harmony within the Jain community.
The Jain Centre of Metropolitan Washington - Jinvani group is thrilled to announce the resounding success of the recent Dasmuvrat Aradhana, which included engaging in 10/11 Samayiks and performing the sacred Devasi Pratikraman by thirty dedicated Upasaks. Their enthusiasm has sparked a request for more frequent Dasmuvrat Aradhana at their Center.
Anekant Community Centre of Los Angeles brings a beautiful opportunity to give someone a precious gift of eye vision by contributing towards their Cataract Surgery. Their upcoming mission to Ghana in October 2023 aims to perform two thousand surgeries. The total cost of each surgery is $15. If you donate $7.50, the Sarva Mangal Family Trust shall contribute the remaining half. Please check their flyer below.
“JITO USA Innovation & Entrepreneurship Workshop” is scheduled on Saturday, June 24, 2023, from 9:00 am to 7:00 pm at the Jain Center of New Jersey in Franklin Township, NJ. It is an excellent opportunity to connect, network, learn from accomplished leaders, and receive their support in business, trade, education, and philanthropy. Digital Literacy Course by JAINA Women’s Committee
In today's age, digital literacy is so important as we depend on it for even day-to-day things. But not all of us are well aware of how digital devices work. JAINA Women’s Committee makes it easier to learn digital devices through its Digital Literacy Course. They are going to conduct an educational session for all women, seniors, and anyone who wants to learn about technology.
Sessions will start with fundamental knowledge of digital devices like PCs, Laptops, tablets, and mobile phones. It will teach you which device is appropriate for you, how to use it, and make technology your friend.
Digital Group leader, Hemal Patani, will lead this seminar. She is a well-known speaker, mentor, and leader in the tech world associated with Oracle company.

Jain Center of Columbus, Ohio
Last month, the Jain Center of Columbus, Ohio (JCOCO) presented a drama/movie, "AHAM GAJ," about Bhagwan Shri Bahubali at the AMC theater. The writer, producer, director, and actor - Yash Lunkad, cinematographer, editor, and musician - Anish Sanghavi, 40 actors, and the movie crew are from Columbus Jain Sangh. AHAM GAJ Movie will be released on YouTube and, if time permits, at the JAINA Convention 2023 as well.
Jain Center of Greater Phoenix
Last month, the Jain Center of Greater Phoenix (JCGP) had a wonderful opportunity to host Jain Sangh from Los Angeles, CA, at their Derasar. As we say, “Synergy is the creation of a whole that is greater than the sum of its parts." Well, that was exactly what was witnessed by everyone who attended. They felt positive vibrations and synergy with everyone so deeply immersed in Bhakti that there are no words to describe it. Can you imagine if more and more Jain Sanghs visit each other's center, what positive impact we can make on keeping the Jain religion alive for the future generations?!
During this weekend's event, they traveled by bus on Saturday, performed Bhakti and Snatra Puja at JCGP, and, post lunch, departed for LA on Sunday.
Jain Society of Metropolitan Washington
The Jain Society of Metropolitan Washington - Jinvani group recently had a successful Dasmuvrat Aradhana.
Under the divine inspiration of Gurudev Shree Namramuni Maharaj Saheb, 30 dedicated Upasaks came together for an unforgettable spiritual journey. They immersed themselves in an incredible 11-hour Dasmuvrat Aradhana, which included engaging in 10/11 Samayiks and performing the sacred Devasi Pratikraman. One of the highlights of the Aradhana was a special live Zoom session with Param Samyaktaji Mahasatiji, a revered Shishya of Gurudev Shree Namramuni Maharaj Saheb.
JSMW is grateful to all the volunteers who helped in making the event successful and elated to share that the Aradhaks were filled with immense joy requesting for more frequent Dasmuvrat Aradhana at their Jain Center.
