this new app. You can even recommend Dignitaries to be added.
Read the recent update of the JAINA Vaiyavach committee which has committed $40,000 to Shantiniketan Sadhana Kendra and Prerna Prakashan Trust, Tithal, Valsad for acquiring and renovating a place to be used as an additional Upashray for our Sadhviji and Mahasatiji.
Last week, the new Upashray was Inaugurated for all the Sadhviji Maharaj of all Jain Sampradays for their Vihar while passing through the town of Valsad. JAINA is grateful to Pujya
Shri Jinchandraji Maharaj for giving us this opportunity of Vaiyavach of Guru Bhagwants.

JAINA Vaiyavach Committee Update
|
|
 Under the aegis of Vaiyavach
Activity, JAINA had committed and donated Rs. 30 Lakhs ($ 40,000) to Shantiniketan Sadhana Kendra and Prerna Prakashan Trust, Tithal, Valsad currently operating under the Guidance
of Pujya Shri Jinchandraji Maharaj.
During December 2021, JAINA had committed $40,000 for acquiring and renovating a place to be used as an additional Upashray for our Sadhviji and Mahasatiji. The need
for additional Upashray was felt by the Trust as there were many occasions when Sadhviji from different sampradayas were approaching the Trust for using the facility at the same time.
The current Sadhviji upashray was inadequate at times to accommodate all the Sadhviji.
On February 20, 2022, the new Upashray was Inaugurated on the auspicious occasion of the 65th Birthday of Ben Maharaj Sadhvi Ramyakirtishriji. JAINA India Foundation
representatives Mr. Amol Shah and Mrs. Kavita Shah represented JAINA during the Inauguration and attended the Saraswati Jaap Sadhana which was organized on the occasion. The
New Upashray was inaugurated as per the JAIN Vaastu Pooja in the presence of Pujya Shri Jinchandraji Maharaj and Pujya Shri Kirtichandraji Maharaj.
The new upashray will be useful for Sadhviji Maharaj of all Jain Sampradays during their Vihar while passing through the town of Valsad and JAINA is grateful to Pujya
Shri Jinchandraji Maharaj for giving us this opportunity of Vaiyavach of Guru Bhagwants.

Jain Society of Metropolitan Washington is an All of us grant recipient and a community partner. Recently, JSMW members joined a virtual panel discussion conducted by All of Us for American Heart Month and showed a support for the program that is bringing
data to the researchers and helping us all live longer, healthier lives.
During this discussion people learned important facts about heart diseases and the difference research can make with the All of us Research. 50% of heart attacks in the
South Asian community happen before age 50. That’s why it’s so important for us to get educated on the ways we can lower our risk of heart disease.
