Know Your JAINA
|
In the year 2020 when the world was reeling from the COVID-19, JAINA became more active. You must have noticed that we undertook many new initiatives and succeeded in our endeavor.
Over 300 volunteers, in the 36 JAINA Committees, work tirelessly and they are ready to take JAINA to a new height. To help the Committees perform even
better, JAINA EC is introducing a new initiative 'Know your JAINA'. This will make the community aware of the people behind each committee, their mission, current
activities, finances, and future plans.
Every last Friday of the month, the JAINA newsletter will announce the name of the committee which we will highlight in the upcoming month, and invite
the entire community to attend the event.
Every first Friday of the month, JANA Newsletter will publish a flyer, provided by the committee, inviting the community to a Zoom meeting in the upcoming
days to introduce the committee to the community.
On the second weekend of the month, the Committee will host a Zoom meeting explaining the mission of the committee, introducing the Committee Members,
discussing current projects and the future plans, etc. Next, opening the floor for dialogue and question answers from the community. The Committee Chair will invite
members of the community to join with them; appoint liaison members in each Sangh. For the rest of the month, the committee will reach out to the new volunteers and
map out progress for the coming year.
