JAINA is very happy to join Shree Mumbai Jain Sanghathan in the joy and Jubilation of today's celebration. The bestowment of D. Lit degree to our P. P. Shri Arunvijayji Maharaj by Delhi University is a reminder to all of us of his deep studies, devotion, and his proclivity to share his knowledge. Jains of North America under the banner of JAINA have been benefiting from his ongoing weekly lectures on Karma Theory scheduled over six months for which we are very grateful. JAINA wishes P. P. Shri Arunvijayji a triumph in all his endeavors, including the upcoming Veeralaym near Pune.

INTRODUCING JAINA EXECUTIVE BOARD 2022-2023

Haresh Shah being into Retail Businesses for over 36 years. He has obtained B.Sc. degree from Mumbai University. He has been actively serving the community locally and nationally for the last 22 years. As the JAINA President for the next 2 years, his vision is to make JAINA an organization that serves Jains of all ages in North America. His goal is to create a volunteer program for our adults, create assisted living facilities for our seniors, a mentoring program for new Jain students from India, employ innovative technologies to listen to the community's voices, expand JAINA matrimonial program at the global level and more.


Bindesh Shah has obtained his Master of Science degree from Syracuse University and is currently working as a Senior IT Manager at Amadeus in Florida. He has served as Convention Co-Convener for the JAINA Convention 2021 and has been serving at local Jain Center for the last 22 years. His vision as First Vice President is to make JAINA a household name in North America, while as the Convener of the JAINA Convention 2023, he is striving to take the convention to new heights. As an EC member, his intent will be to bring well deserved focus to transparency, good governance and help take JAINA to the next level with active involvement of youth leaders.


Atul Shah has served as a Member of JAINA Conventions board since 2015. As a Secretary for this term his vision is to help bring JAINA to another milestone with commitment, teamwork and unity. He believes together we can raise the bar for JAINA, as a great umbrella organization for Jain’s religious and community needs in North America. He is looking forward to getting continued support from the community in achieving these goals.


Ketu Sheth is an entrepreneur and has been actively serving the JAINA since 2014. His vision as Treasurer is to bring digital evolution to JAINA’s financial systems and take it to the next level. He aims to establish a modern & robust financial governance model, guidance for Jain centers in the USA to follow better finance and accounting practices, adhering to US laws and regulations, and to develop plans and committees for streamlining various fundraising initiatives.


Dr. Girish J Shah has received master’s degree in public health, Dental Public Health, and Ph.D. Public Health. He has also taken post-doctoral training at various institutions. He has been associated with Bidada Sarvodaya Trust for over 12 years and has been serving the Jain community and underserved community through various humanitarian services. He has received JAINA Presidential Award 2021, has served as JAINA Director from 2019-20/21-22. Dr. Girish Shah is serving as Regional Vice President of Northeast Region.


Sharad Doshi is a Mechanical Engineer and has been into Business for the past 28 years. He has been associated with JAINA and at the local center for over 25 years. As Regional Vice President (Mid-East), his vision for JAINA is to create a voice of "One Jain" across the US and across the world, build more centers, create an app for Jain/Vegan food, introduce and execute the US President Volunteers Recognition Program.


Anil H Shah has obtained Master’s degree in Industrial Engineering from Morgantown, and MBA degree from Cincinnati, Ohio. As JAINA Regional Vice President (Southeast), he visions to protect JAINA legacy and advance such programs that Jain unity permeates everywhere. His goals for JAINA include improving communication and participation of all sanghs.


Ram Gada has been serving as JAINA Director since 1989. He is also the Founder & President of the Jain Center of Minnesota. He is the recipient of the "JAINA RATNA" award-2019. He will serve as JAINA Regional Vice President (Mid-West).


Jatin Shah has done his master’s in computer science. As a Regional Vice President (Southwest), he aims to support JAINA, Jain Centers all across America, partner with Jain centers globally, work with Jain Directors to move forward their way to implement Jain way into Jain Center, and promote Transparency, Democracy and Openness into Jains of North America.


Shobha Vora is Bachelor of Architecture and has previously served as JAINA Secretary As a Regional Vice President (West), she aims to support and encourage youth to become JAINA leaders by creating respect and belief in JAINA, identify the unique needs of the centers and start a sustainable support system, and create an open communication with Directors and encourage their participation.


Dr. Mahendra Jain is MD and is a Family Physician. He has been serving as JAINA Director since 2017 and has been serving the local Jain Center for over 10 years. As a Regional Vice President (Canada), his goal is to broaden knowledge, awareness and recognition of Jainism in North America and encourage more Youth involvement in Jain Community and JAINA.


Mahesh Wadher, has enjoyed being an entrepreneur in many industries for decades. He is most proud of his transition into philanthropy. He is the past President of JAINA who has initiated and completed many projects under his leadership. He has been associated with JAINA for many years. He aims to extend his full support to the current Executive Committee at every level and to work closely with all the Jain Centers and see interaction in bringing ideas that would encompass activities and meaningful connection with JAINA.


Rea Savla holds degrees in Economics and Business from UC Berkeley. She is passionate about community service, social justice, and entrepreneurship. Having served on YJA's Convention Committee and Executive Board and having co-founded UC Berkeley's Jain Students Association and Jains for Justice, Rea is excited to return to YJA and help bring the organization to new heights as Co-Chair.


Satej Shah has done his Bachelor of Science (IT) from the University of Illinois at Urbana-Champaign. He has previously served as the Director of Project Development, the Director of Publications, and an Audio-Visual Technologies Co-Lead. Currently, serving as YJA Co-Chair.
