Dear Sadharmik brothers and sisters,
Jai Jinendra!
🙏
|
As we approach the culmination of Paryushan, let's contemplate the significance of forgiveness (Kshama). Forgiving others and seeking forgiveness for our own shortcomings are essential aspects of spiritual growth. As we practice Kshama, may our hearts be cleansed, and our souls be filled with compassion.
Today I also feel blessed as we embark on the auspicious journey of Das Lakshana Parva. Today marks the beginning of our spiritual reflection, focusing on the first of the ten essential attributes of the soul – "Anitya" or impermanence. Let us contemplate the transient nature of life and the importance of detachment in our pursuit of spiritual growth.
We encourage you to join our live lectures conducted by Jain Scholars in Gujarati, and Hindi in the evening. The Paryushan lectures will also be accessible through the JAINA Mobile app for your convenience. Please check the link / QR code below to download JAINA Mobile App. Feel free to actively engage by asking questions to address any doubts you may have. Additionally, you are welcome to attend the discourses of our revered Pujya Gurudev and seek his blessings. Your active participation will enrich your spiritual journey.
To celebrate Das Lakshana Parva, JAINA has organized spiritual discourses featuring distinguished Jain scholars. These discourses will be delivered in English in the morning and in Hindi in the evening. Please find the daily topics and schedule below for your reference.
JAINA will honor Tapasvis by publishing their Names and City in the JAINA e-newsletter and www.jaina.org home page. Please share your tapascharya details to anumodna@jaina.org.
JAINA is pleased to announce the annual Samvatsari Pratikraman, a sacred ritual of repentance and forgiveness (Kshamapana) that concludes Paryushan. Join us in this spiritually enriching practice by clicking the link below. May this Samvatsari Pratikraman cleanse our souls by seeking forgiveness for any knowingly or unknowingly accumulated karma.
Sincerely and respectfully,
Haresh Shah, JAINA President
