2. SHILANAYAS CEREMONY – RICHMOND, VIRGINIA, AUG 13 & 14
Jain Center of Central Virginia is proud to announce "Shilanyas" on August 13th and 14th in Richmond, Virginia. Shri Manak Muni believes that this Shikharbandhi temple of Shri Shankheshwar Parshwanath will bring peace and prosperity to thousands of pious souls for centuries to come in North America. Jain Center of Central Virginia invites you to join them in this auspicious occasion.
 
3. JAIN YOUTH EXCHANGE PROGRAM (JYEP) – JULY 2016
JAINA again partnered with JITO in India to recently host 12 Youths who hailed from various cities in India. These 12 Youths were selected from 400+ applicants in India. Youths were hosted in homes of Jain families while touring, visiting various monuments and temples and meeting entrepreneurs and industry leaders. The group started their three weeks trip in New York City, followed by a visit to Washington D.C., attended YJA Convention in Los Angeles and completed their amazing experience in San Francisco.
 
4. Diwali festival postage stamp campaign
Hon. Congresswoman Tulasi Gabbard in USA has initiated a campaign regarding our Diwali festival. She is requesting the US Postal Services to publish a Diwali Postage Stamp. Please sign this petition and kindly forward this message to your friends and family members. It takes less than a minute.

5. JAIN PROFESSORSHIP AT UNIVERSITY OF NORTH TEXAS – SEPTEMBER 30, 2016
 
Following the recent signing of the agreement between the Jain Education and Research Foundation (JERF) and the University of North Texas (UNT) for the establishment of an endowed professorship of Jain Studies, the formal announcement of the professorship will be made by the President Neal Smatresk of UNT in a major event at the University. Event will be attended by the leaders of Jain communities from all over USA and also by the academic community of the University and other luminaries. JERF invites all members of the Jain community to participate in this history making event, which will be held at the University of North Texas, Denton on Sept 30, 2016 at 6:30 pm and will be followed by a vegetarian dinner.

After the establishment of the Bhagwan Mahavir Professorship of Jain Studies at the Florida International University, this is the second endowed professorship of Jain Studies being sponsored by JERF.

Rajja Sadhvi was affected by Leprosy. One of the sadhvijis asked her, “How did this disease infect you?” She replied, “I am infected due to the heat caused by drinking boiled water.” She concealed the fact that her illness was due to her past sins. By hearing such explanation from their guru, other sadhvijis also followed her and started drinking unboiled water.…

Jain International Trade Organization (JITO) in collaboration with JAINA presents 'G2G Going Global', a unique International Business and Networking Conference on September 17 and 18, 2016, at Marriott Hotel, Santa Clara, California.

This conference is dedicated towards fostering entrepreneurship and providing opportunities for global networking to the Jain Community. Sessions will allow attendees to:
