|Jai Jinendra @@first_name@@, |
Thank you for giving us the opportunity to serve you. We are humbled by the trust you have placed in us and assure you we will carry out our responsibilities to the best of our abilities. As a part of JAINA’s Executive Committee, we are proud to serve alongside professionals who provide leadership, integrity and progress as we move towards executing our Shared Vision: to lead North American Jain communities in living and sharing a Jain way of life.
Our community has accomplished much worth celebrating this past year. Click on the boxes below to see some highlights.
Looking ahead to 2014:
2014 promises to bring Jains together and spread knowledge of Jainism across North America as never before. We are creating a central hub for communication between organizations and projects. In February, we will be hosting our annual JAINA Leadership Conference. We will be offering a number of resources of youth and families, as we look towards providing over $150,000 through our education loan program and explore ways to bring interest free loans for family assistance programs for Jains in North America. We are also gearing up for the Young Jains of America Convention in Washington D.C. In India, we will launching our first pilot project of working with 61 students in adults through our Upliftment Project.
Furthermore, we are embarking on new educational, technology, and social media initiatives. These efforts will modernize how the Jain way of life is viewed by Jain youth and adults, as well as the wider world.
This was all made possible by the support of donations from members such as you and the leadership of JAINA's Executive Committee members, Committee Leaders, and Project Leaders.
