On Friday October 29, 2011 - President Obama celebrated Diwali at the White House. JAINA was also invited and the President specifically mentioned Jains in his Diwali message and Diya lighting ceremony. JAINA's participation was coordinated by Dr. Sushil Jain, JAINA president.
