Jai Jinendra After countless hours put in by many Päthshälä Teacher volunteers for more than a year most of the Päthshälä Education Books have been prepared, revised, completed and ready for printers. The quality and contents of the education material is of very high standard. The material is reviewed by various scholars and edited by youths and American friends. Most of the books have many color photographs. We have selected high quality printer in India to print these books. The following eleven Päthshälä books will be published during the next six months. Jaina Education Books are sold at a very reasonable price and we plan distribute 10% to 15% of books to scholars, libraries, and educational institutions at free of charge. We distribute the educational material through the local Päthshälä coordinators and volunteers in North America. Also we plan to make Jaina educational material available to other countries like UK, Africa, and India. We have planned to print 3000 copies of each book. The estimated cost of printing of all books will be about $60,000. We will recover most of the cost after the sale of books, which may take two to three years. However at present, the Education committee has less than $3000 in the account. We need your support in terms of loan / contribution to JAINA Education committee so that we complete this project without any delay. We request that major society should loan around $3000 to $5000 and small society loan us $500 to $1000. We will supply the quantity of books needed for your Päthshälä activities as well as the quantities needed for your members at large to your appointed coordinator. So far we have received an oral commitment of $12000 dollars from New York, Houston, Detroit, and Chicago centers. We recommend that the society distribute the Päthshälä education books to its teachers and regular students free of charge. Please assign a coordinator with whom we can communicate with regards to the number of copies of each book your society would like to buy. We will keep track of your account and deduct the amount from your loan amount. We request you to loan or contribute generously for the religious education of our children. This way our education material will reach to many people. Your contribution of $100 or more and loan amount of $1000 or more will be recognized in the future publication of Jaina Education Material.
