JAINA Education CD available in India: | ||
| We have received very good reviews of our JAINA Education CD from many Jain organizations of USA, Canada, and UK. About 2000 CDs were distributed to all these organizations and individuals.I will be visiting India from August 29, 2002 to September 15, 2002 and will bring some CDs with me. Education CD Available From JAINA: | ||
| This announcement summarizes the contents of the Jain Education CD and how one can purchase it. The CD contains over 2000 files, which consist of more than 10,000 pages of printed materials covering variety information of Jainism in English. It will be a great resource for everyone interested in Jain philosophy, including Jain pathashala teachers and students around the globe. The main objective of the JAINA Education committee is to make Jain principles known to the Jain communities at large and make Jain literature widely available in English. In the countries like USA, Canada, UK, and Africa where many Jains have settled permanently, their children do not have easy access to Jain literature in English. Also there is a strong need to publish Jain Literature in variety of mediums (Videos, Cassettes, CD, DVD, and Web deployment) for the English speaking people, having interest in the Jain philosophy, religion and scriptures. We hope that this CD will satisfy some of these needs. We will help you to set-up your website and periodically provide you updates. Classification of the Material The material compiled in this CD is not a copyrighted material. However, if we have incorporated any copy righted material due to some error on our part, please send us an e-mail indicating that you are the original and true owner of the certain material and have objection to distribute the material by the JAINA Education committee on a cost basis. We will remove it from the future revisions and from our websites. Purchase of CD Purchase by the Organizations * Recommended Contribution - $3.00 per CD (Minimum quantity to order 50). We need a help to distribute the CDs in your organization. We will bulk mail the CDs on consignment any where in the world. You transfer the funds to Federation of JAINA after the CDs are sold. This will minimize our workload. Method of Payment * Residents of USA can pay by Check or Credit Card * All others can pay by International money orders, Cash in US dollars, or by Credit cards in US dollars.
