for Books The library is based at the Jain Center of Southern California.
The JAINA / JCSC Library is located in Jain Center of Southern
California (JCSC) in Buena Park, California. Books are available
for checkout by JAINA/Jain Center members anywhere in the United
States or Canada.
Search for the book of your interest and follow the instructions
on each page to send us a request a book for checkout. Please
be patient as JCSC is going through a major expansion/renovation.
Library Hours:
10:30am to 2:30pm Sundays when there are no Adult or
JCYC classes
12:30pm to 2:30pm on Sundays when there are Adult or JCYC classes
The hours may be extended after the library is moved to its dedicated
location in the adjacent building in 2005. It is currently housed
in the main hall that is also used for other activities which
may pre-empt library operation without prior notice.
Library Rules:
Loan Period: 3 Weeks
Maximum renewals: 2, if there are no outstanding requests; otherwise
0.
Maximum items checked out 4 (a set is counted as one item)
Mailing charges: None for mailing from library (donations are
welcome),
return mailing paid by the borrower.
Late Fee: $5/item/week, may affect future borrowing capability.
Damage Fee: $5 and up.
Lost Fee: Replacement Cost ($10 Minimum).
