Nepal Earthquake Victims Relief fund » Donate Online

The World Commmunity Services (WCS) of Federation of Jain Associations in North America (JAINA) has launched "Nepal Earthquake victims Relief fund” to raise funds to help the victims of this disaster. The devastating 7.8-magnitude earthquake hit in Nepal on Saturday, April 25th 2015, which was the worst earthquake in 80 yrs.

Our main goal is to save animals from the slaughter house, and to provide nutrition, water, and healthcare for animals staying in panjarapoles. The Jivdaya committee also helps to build new sheds and to maintain existing sheds of panjarapoles. Each year, the Jivdaya committee receives appeals from panjarapoles all across India.

Young Jains of America (“YJA”) was first established in 1991, and held its first youth convention in 1994. Over the past 14 years, Jain youth have accomplished a great deal and become an integral piece of the future of Jainism. YJA is an entity of JAINA and puts emphasis on projects relating to Jain youth from ages 14-29. Currently, YJA is planning its 11th biennial youth convention which will be held in Washington D.C. during the summer of 2014.

99 Yatra 2016 » Donate Online

It is a great pleasure to announce that JAINA has finalized a religious pilgrimage to one of the holiest and historical places in Jain religion. We have organized a 99 Yatra event to the Shatrunjay Mahatirth in Palitana in 2016. The yatra will commence in India from November 14, 2016 through January 13, 2017. The ninety-nine yatra will be performed under the guidance of Acahrya Bhagwant (Name to be announced later on) and Shri Punch Parmeshati Ratna Narendrabhai Nandu and his team.

Mangalam TV Show » Donate Online

Media Production Committee was formed in 2006. The very first show was broadcast in 2007 on Paryushan day. Since then it is broadcast regularly on a weekly basis. It reaches 51 countries worldwide, available on television and the internet. In last 6 years we have completed 152 episodes and are available on the internet. This year we would like to start a 24 hour Global Mangalam Show Channel, covering the Jain Diaspora. The most important accomplishment is the involvment of young jains.
