Our main goal is to save animals from the slaughter house, and to provide nutrition, water, and healthcare for animals staying in panjarapoles. The Jivdaya committee also helps to build new sheds and to maintain existing sheds of panjarapoles. Each year, the Jivdaya committee receives appeals from panjarapoles all across India.

Young Jains of America (“YJA”) was first established in 1991, and held its first youth convention in 1994. Over the past 14 years, Jain youth have accomplished a great deal and become an integral piece of the future of Jainism. YJA is an entity of JAINA and puts emphasis on projects relating to Jain youth from ages 14-29. Currently, YJA is planning its 11th biennial youth convention which will be held in Washington D.C. during the summer of 2014.

The 18th Biennial JAINA Convention is being held from July 2nd to July 5th in Atlanta, Georgia at the Georgia International Convention Center and is located in College Park - a Southwest suburb of Atlanta.
