World Community Service

Mission:

  • To provide humanitarian services all around the world with emphasis on India.
  • To provide medical services to disadvantage and poor people and rush to emergency disasters such as: Earthquake, Floods, and Hurricane Famine etc.

Accomplishments:

  • Helped victims of Earthquake in Lathur (Mah.), North ridge (CA), Uttar Kashi (U.P.), Kobe (Japan), and Kutch (Gujarat)
  • Conducted Medical Camps in Kutch & Veerayatan, Pune, Mangrol (India)
  • Helped war victims in Rawanda
  • Adopted 2 villages in Kutch during cyclone
  • Provided financial help to war victims of Kosovo
  • Rebuilt village in Orissa, India
  • Donated number of Medical Equipments, Clothes, Blankets, Water Bottles, Wheel Chairs, and Dental Chairs in India.

Future Plans:

  • Rebuild 2 villages in Kutch, Gujarat
  • Rebuild Community Center
  • Rebuild Primary & Secondary Schools

11/11/04: The World Community Service of JAINA has decided to help Veerayatan to adopt the village of Pawapuri, break the downward cycle of illiteracy, poverty and apathy. our plan is to help build a school, “Teerthankar Mahavir Vidyamandir”, primary health center and a vocational training center for 1,000 children.
